Valentine's Day is looming and despite trying valiantly to be bitter and twisted, we on Been there finally got sucked into the romance of the weekend. This process was aided by
Eurostar offering us two tickets to the city of love and chocolate crepes, and let's face it, if you can't find love in Paris you can definitely find a choclate crepe - ergo a competition for all tippers to participate in.
What's the crack?
As well as a pair of Eurostar tickets, you will also win a copy of
Paris on DVD, a movie starring the ridiculously cool Juliette Binoche. Filmed in the Ménilmontant area of the city, it is a funny and touching film which manages to capture the essence of Paris without becoming a cliche.
What's the catch?
No later than Friday 6 February, we want to know your top tips for train journeys around the globe. The most scenic? The most characterful? The most luxurious? The person who sends in the best tip wins. Simple. But you must be a registered Been there user to enter, so before you do anything else register
here.
You can
email or
post your tip on the website but either way we need to know it's for this competition so remember to write EUROSTAR in the subject line of the email together with your username or at the bottom of your posted tip.
Emails should be sent to:
