This month's winning photo is an extraordinary shot taken by Greg Martin of his friend riding a tube off Dalmore beach on the Isle of Lewis. Yes, that's right, the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. It's hard to know what to be more impressed by, the skill of the surfer in momentarily harnessing the power of nature, Greg's proficiency in capturing the precariousness of the situation and the beautiful curvature of the wave or the fact that the picture was taken in Scotland and not Hawaii.

Greg's image will be blown up and scanned onto a canvas block by Point 101.
