This month's winning photo is a soulful snap of musicians jamming in the Cuban town of Trinidad. James Brooks, who took this picture, said it was the best night of his life and you can see why. This shot seems heady with all the ingredients of a hot and sticky summer - homegrown music, chirping crickets, the clink of ice at the bottom of a lethally strong mojito and the pungent whiff of a good cigar.  

James's image will be blown up and scanned onto a canvas block by Point 101.
