Thanks to all snappers who sent in entries for last month's photography competition, the standard was extremely high but this stunning image of the Yasukini Shrine in Tokyo stood out for its powerful use of colour and thoughtful composition. The winning shot was sent in by Ged Hynes whose image will be blown up and scanned on to a canvas block by Point 101.
