June photo of the month (theme City Life) by Morag Brown:
'The woman in this photo is sweeping up rubbish on the roof of the old fortress in Macau, China. I like the contrast of the woman with the city in the background.'
Our judge, professional photographer Natalie Mayer, says: '
I like the feel of the vastness of the sprawling city that this image gives. Thousands of individual flats contained in the many sky scrapers. Millions of people, living on top of one another, in what looks like a dirty and run-down area. And one lonely soul, keeping the street lovely and clean, with a makeshift dust pan and brush. It gives a sense of people's triumph.'

July's theme: Enjoying the moment
There are very few times in life when everything feels just perfect - but when it happens, it tends to happen on holiday. Capture that moment and send it to us by 28 July. Make sure you put: "July Photo Competition" in the subject field
And while we're at it...
August theme: SummerYes, that's right. We are giving you a bit of a head start for next month's competition. We know many of you lucky souls are off on vacation in the coming months - so we want you to bring your camera, snap away and send us the most summery photos you can muster - just one per person please, not a full gallery of your holiday snaps. So, we're thinking ice creams, hammocks, lazy days... or if you're in the southern hemisphere - woolly hats and hot chocolate! Enter by 25 August and make sure you put: "August Photo Competition" in the subject field.
