Been there is all about the people, so each week we will be introducing you to some of our more prolific tipsters
This week, meet Nohelia from
Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her favourite past time while in her home town is watching the tango dances at Dorrego Square
while sipping beer on a Sunday afternoon.
But she also loves travelling and experiencing new places - each culture is a new world to discover, she says

other tippers.
How old are you? 29
Where is your hometown? Buenos Aires
How would you describe the way you travel? Eclectic? Very organised? Eclectic. I like to plan my vacations but I I also like to be spontaneous and allow some space for the improvisations that can bring more interesting experiences.
Where is the most inspiring place you have been? Why? I have been to two inspiring places completely different from each other so it's impossible for me to compare them. The first one is Sinai at the Red Sea - the mixture and contrast between the ocher colored Sinai mountains, the richness of the marine life and the mysteriousness of the Bedouins make this place a treasure.
The second one is the Park Tayrona in Santa Marta, Colombia. You can feel all the power of nature in a magical environment surrounded by exotic vegetation, wonderful beaches, lovely people and delicious Caribbean food. Its richness and natural variety, along with the peace and the special energy probably given by the indigenous cultures still living there, make this place one of my favorites for getting unplugged from the world.
Do you have a favourite restaurant anywhere in the world? Osaka in Buenos Aires. Asian and Peruvian food. For sea food lovers it is the best!
If you could only visit one place now for the rest of your life, where would it be and why? Probably China. I have to live and understand the Asian culture if they are going to be the next world power!
Do you prefer to be home or away from it? My home is the place where I feel comfortable, it is not any specific geographical location. Sometimes I carry my home with me and my beloved ones in my heart.
Where was it that you caught the travel bug? It began in Brazil but I learned it mainly from the Israelies. They do know how to travel!
Where are you planning to go to next and why? Brazil. I can't get over the country and its culture. I have a fixation with their music and language.
Where is your favourite view? The Seven Lakes route at the Argentine Patagonia. It's a view I wasn't expecting to see in South America, driving all along the Andes at the border with Chile covered by snow and surrounded by all this water. But also the impressive view of the Colombian Andes (the range is divided in three at the South of Colombia) in a place called Santander, reminds you nature's power and humans irresponsibility in trying to destroy it.
Do you feel like your life has been enhanced through travelling? In what way? Do you go away to places expecting to come back with particular experiences under your belt. For sure! Each place and each culture is a new world to discover. To understand people's beliefs and their relation with their geographical location opens your mind to multiple possibilities. I think the most important is not the experience itself but what you have learned from that experience. Each time I travel I learn how wonderful the world is and I learn to see it from different perspectives, questioning myself about some superficial or intolerant values and thoughts imposed by my own culture.
Describe a weekend day in your hometown. Buenos Aires is a city full of activities specially during the weekends. I like to lie in one of its beautiful parks on Saturdays to take the sun and to read a book. On Sundays I love to visit San Telmo's craft market, and to have a beer in the afternoon after the market is closed at the Dorrego Square while the tango dancers are doing their respective performances.
Can you tell us about your best moment travelling - even if it's in your hometown? When I travel to see my grandparents in a small town close to the capital. It's a beautiful experience to be back in the place where you grew up and to feel that in some places the time has stopped.
Ipod or book? Book
Most essential item? Toothbrush
Can you give us your three best things to do in your home town? 1. A visit to a Tango show and dinner is a must for both the cultural and culinary experience.
2. A visit to a Boca Juniors game is for sure a unique experience in the world
3. as I said before, visit the Craft Market in San Telmo on Sunday and wait until they close to enjoy the tango dancers and the nice atmosphere
