Guardian Films is making a series of short films for the Guardian Travel Site about swimming in the wild - and we need your help.

In our film series, Kate Rew, our presenter, will be exploring some of the country's most beautiful and wild swimming spots. She'll be river swimming, frolicking in plunge pools and waterfalls, discovering little known lakes and swimming off into the distance in the sea. Kate is the writer of Wild Swim, a delicious collection of stories about her favourite places to swim in the wild.

If you have your own favourite wild swimming haunts and you have home-movies, video or photographs of you, or your friends and family swimming in wild places, we would love to include them in our films.

Send hard copies of your film, video or photographs before 30 July 2009 to:
Lindsay Poulton, Guardian Films, Kings Place, 90 York Way, London. N1 9GU. Or email full resolution quicktime movies and JPG photos to: guardianfilms@guardian.co.uk

We will view all material and make selections for inclusion in our films and, if requested, we will return all hard copies. Please make sure that the people in your photos and films have given their permission. All photos and films must be your own work. By sending us your photos and films you agree that we may publish them and that we may store them as archive footage. Ownership of copyright in your photos and films will remain with you. No responsibility will be taken for any photos and films that are lost or damaged by us.
