Four-poster bed outside luxury villa, Okonjima, Namibia

This week's questions:

I am planning on visiting Namibia for two weeks with three girlfriends in the autumn. We have already booked our flights with Air Namibia in late October, from London to Windhoek. It is obviously a huge country and having never been before, I am unsure where we should begin. Any help to advise on where best to focus our fortnight would be much appreciated. We would like to do a self-drive holiday and experience some adventures on the way. We are all in our early thirties, single and highly active. We would definitely like to combine some of the country's best safari sights with activities and exploring. We are happy to camp (ideally not too basic) during some of the holiday and we would like to experience one or two nights of affordable luxury. The budget, outside of the international flights, would be anything up to £1250pp for two weeks. Thank you in advance for any help at all.

I need to get away for a sunny holiday and have decided on a trip to the Greek islands, but I'm not sure which to visit (or avoid)! I'm looking for somewhere laid-back but lively (although definitely not a party island), where I can find great local food and plenty of places to read in the sun or enjoy a nice cold glass of something while admiring the view. A bit vague perhaps, but can anyone suggest an island that fits the bill?
