I go to stay a lot in Buenos Aires and have had mixed experiences. We used to stay in a hotel and then as we were going for longer we decided to rent an apartment. We had some disasters with a couple of companies and then found this one. We now use them when we go on holiday or for work - the girls in the office are from all over and speak English. We stayed in an amazing house last time in Palermo - Casa Spectacular - and I am going alone next month so have chosen an apartment with them.

This lovely boutique hotel situated in the heart of San Telmo is something special. My wife and I spent the first three days of a marvellous four-week holiday in Argentina in this hotel and it certainly set the standard for the rest of the holiday.

I cannot overstate how helpful all of the staff were. The rooms, located around a central courtyard, are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are simple but healthy and tasty.

The location may at first seem a little off-putting, but don't be. It's a great area and, as far as we are concerned, very safe. Lots of very good restaurants nearby - let the hotel staff advise you. And if you're lucky, when you are leaving they may even give you a copy of their CD featuring a mix of jazz and tango style music.
