This picture was taken at the Shipstern Nature Reserve, Sartenja, Belize. Not many tourists make it up the dusty roads of Northern Belize to this sleepy fishing village. However, the trek is well worth it. Hiring a park ranger to bring you around the reserve for the day is a must and the bird watching is fantastic (arguably the best in Belize)!
