This lake is situated in the centre of Phnom Pehn, and is soon to disappear due to redevelopment. In 2006 the lake had only a few tufts of Morning Glory floating about. This year it is being used by locals to cultivate. Next time I return, the lake will be reduced to 1/10th of its current density. This lake is home to very many impoverished families as well as being a peaceful sanctuary from the chaos of city life.
