Bod as it's called by the locals, Shangri-la as it may be. It's the roof of the world. A magical Buddhist kingdom. Ancient and spiritual, yet integrating more and more into the Chinese mainland. Monks, mountains, momos, high plains, Himalayan passes, prayer flags and stupas, yak butter tea. A beautiful land, a world apart.
