The city’s trademark dish. A delicious chicken and potato soup served with rice, plantain, corn, avocado, capers and cream. A siesta afterwards may be necessary.
Hearty country fare, consisting of a platter of rice, fried plantain, pork scratchings, minced beef, frijoles (the local improvement on baked beans) and maize cake, served with a fried egg on top. Ask for aji hot sauce. Be still my beating heart.
