This is a great healthy little store. They sell wonderful vegan foods like smoked tofu, soy yogurt, vegan pate, nut butters and other items. We also bought some delicious wine from them. The staff speak English and were very helpful. I highly recommend this store for vegans, vegetarians, healthy eaters and/or wine drinkers. Enjoy!

A genuine gem in the middle of Hvar - a ten minute walk from the marina and as such the expensive cruise-passenger-filled restaurants. Enjoy a complimentary starter which seemed to be par for the course (ours was delicious fresh anchovies with lemon and Istrian olive oil dressing) and for your main, the best and most reasonably priced seafood in Hvar if not the whole of Croatia!
Expect the exuberant chef and owner to come personally to your table to make sure you are enjoying your meal, when he's not chatting up his regulars and sitting down to share a glass of wine with them. This is not a sleek, flashy, upmarket restaurant but the fishing net and shell decorated ceiling is quaint and adds to the relaxed yet fun atmosphere. You'll be dining on traditional Dalmatian fare with the locals who definitely know excellent value when they find it. 10/10. Enjoy!

Fantastic rustic family-run restaurant, serving Dalmatian tapas. The home-made food was excellent and the family were very welcoming. The drunken figs dessert was great! Might be worth reserving as we had to wait a while. Average price.
Head up hill towards fortress from main square, past Zimmer Frei bar and Paradise Garden restaurant (also excellent). Turn left and walk along until you see the barrel with the restaurant name painted on it on one of the tiny roads leading up off to your right.
Italian restaurant right on main square - great food, reasonable price and beautiful setting.
