We found this accommodation totally by chance, and are so happy we did. Not only did the place looks great, but our hosts, Tomo and Zeljka (and their dog Duje) were more than perfect hosts. We were accommodated in the Garden apartment, which is situated (as the name says) in the garden, separated from the other apartments. It was a great choice for us as we were there with our two-year-old: there weren't any stairs, so we could leave him free to run around the yard without being afraid something would happen. the garden was really beautiful, very tastefully arranged with stone table, barbecue, small fountain, lemon and orange trees, and aromatic lavander that gave a special touch to this peaceful place. There is also a jacuzzi "separé", where you can hide yourself from other people and relax.
Tomo and Zeljka were there for us any time we needed, and they offered us their help in everything they thought we might need, including preparing sea food and the barbecue.

A set of fabulous self-catering apartments owned and run by Tomislav (Tomo) and Zeljka Radic in the heart of Komiza on Vis. The apartments are all of a high standard and have outdoor space, whether it is a balcony or part of the garden. The garden is beautifully kept, giving a scent of lavender and citrus fruits each evening.

Three minutes' walk from a lovely beach, Villa Kamenica is about five minutes' walk to the centre of Komiza and a stone's throw from a couple of great restaurants. Tomo and Zeljka will give you the warmest welcome and offer fantastic advice for eating out, exploring the island, walks, beaches to visit, Croatian culture and history. Everything in Komiza is accessible from here.

Vis Island is a real jewel, one of the last unspoiled islands in the Adriatic. The seas are azure, the beaches pristine and secluded, the local cuisine is delicious and the whole island relaxes and enchants you from the minute you arrive. We rented a three bedroom stone house just seconds from the pretty crescent riviera in the centre of Vis Town, and had a wonderful week exploring the island. The townhouse was a charming, well-run little place in a perfect location - and it was also startlingly good value (£500/week for six people). Recommended!

A much better choice on the island of Vis than the (slightly) larger Vis Town. Pleasant beach and good restaurants. Very reasonable apartments too - ask for the poet Pepe in the travel agencies (everyone knows him!)- he will put you up very comfortably!
