I love Sir Toby's for the atmosphere - it is a super cool hostel with great staff, clean rooms, cool garden for lounging, reading and drinking a beer, cellar pub for mingling with other guests, eclectic furniture and so much more. I loved my stay and recommend it to anyone heading to Prague.

A friend and I were looking for budget accommodation in Prague and stumbled upon 'Miss Sophies'. We booked a twin room for £50 per night which we considered a bargain for such a clean, modern hostel in a great location.
It was everything we needed, with friendly English speaking staff, comfy beds, fantastic modern bathroom and a communal kitchen and lounge in the basement where you could chat and eat with other guests.

I liked this modern boutique hostel for the great private rooms. Some friends stayed in the dorms and they were nice too. Super design and fun atmosphere. The staff were really nice and helpful with all the questions I had.
Newly opened, this hostel was a great bargain. Right smack in the middle of the city, it was less than a five minute walk to Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. The common room was nice because it had a TV and there was a fully equipped kitchen to make snacks. Access to internet was also really easy. Breakfast in the morning was cheap and delicious – you can’t ask for much more from a cheap hostel in Prague!

Miss Sophies is a clean, modern hotel/hostel on a quiet side street a short walk from Wenceslas Square. No breakfast, but the rooms are excellent and the price for its location is hard to beat.

Very good tip how to save money for your stay in Prague - the advice is very simple: Sleep in a hostel instead of a hotel. The price for accommodation in hotels is far more expensive than in hostels and if you plan to be there just at night time, it is just a room with bed that you really need.
If you prefer to have your own bathroom there are a lot of hostels which offer rooms with private bathrooms and toilets.
Also, to save even more, look for accommodation not directly in the city centre.

The place was good and the people at the front desk were really helpful. It was in a great location and its definitely somewhere I'd recommend to anyone visiting Prague.

This is a great hostel, and the location is superb. Even if it's in the middle of Prague, we didn't hear a single car or other disturbing noises. It's a perfect spot if you want a (cheap) place to stay, it's open 24 hours and you get your own key to the front door - which is always locked.
We stayed there in February (a very cold month) but in our room the central heating was on all the time, and the water is warm and good.
There was even a colour TV with many channels (not that we had time to watch). When we returned in the evenings, the bed was made and the garbage was emptied.
Highly recommended.

This hostel was great! Would recommend it to any traveller who is looking for a fun time in Prague. We stayed in a 6-bed dorm, everything was clean and there was one cupboard for each person to lock their stuff up in. Showers were clean (although in peak times not exactly hot, but still bearable), toilets also clean and common room area spotless (if a bit smoky at times).
Best of all, the staff were really relaxed - no packing up the breakfast at 5 past 10, it just kind of sat there until everyone had had their fill. There's also safety deposit boxes at reception and a cage to put your luggage in after you've checked out. Five minute walk to old town square, supermarket round the corner (you can also cook at the hostel) and clubs, bars etc all within easy walking distance.

The Czech Inn is Prague's newest hostel and it is fantastic. Great location (walk or tram to centre) with some very cheap eateries nearby. The staff are superb; welcoming , friendly and very accommodating.
If you think a hostel means grubby beds, grubbier people and grubby amenities then think again. Showerheads the size of dinner plates, crisp white bedlinen, polished wooden floors, an 'all you can eat' buffet breakfast, decent coffee, brilliant bar area, free internet and expert advice all contribute to what makes this place rock. They will also arrange transfers and walks for you.

This is a great budget hostel (with lots of character!) within walking distance of the city centre. There is a good choice of rooms, from twin to dorms with eight beds.
