This is a five-star luxury hotel. Very friendly and non-snooty. Located in the Mala Strada district.
It has four guestroom floors dedicated to a different musical genre – jazz, opera, classical and contemporary - with each en-suite room or suite celebrating an individual artist or composer.
There is a music library open all day with books, CDs and DVDs for loan, based on all types of music. There is also a concierge in attendance to answer guests’ questions relating to their stay in Prague – where to go, how to get there, what to see, where to eat etc, and book it all for you.

Beautiful setting, under one of the arches of the Karluv Most. Most romantic restaurant in Prague.
Limited menu, but good wine and excellent hosts.
Cross the Charles Bridge from the Old Town, walk down the steps to your left down to Kampa Island, go under the bridge and it's round to your left.
Pálffy Palác is a bit like Prague itself: romantic and dark. You dine in a room lit only by candles but you can still make out the past grandeur of this 17th century palace. Oh and the food is excellent too - definitely nouvelle by Czech standards, but also great value and tasty. Do book.

The rooftop terrace of Coda Restaurant, which is part of Aria Hotel, has wonderful views, and is a romantic place to eat under the stars, weather permitting. Restaurant U Modré Kachnicky (the Blue Duck) is another nice place, and is walking distance from Aria Hotel.

The sandy, tree-lined waterfront at the Kampa on the Vltava under the castle is a lovely spot.
