This is a really special hotel with a very strong emphasis on environmental matters, e.g they do not sell bottled water and all the food is organic.
The breakfast is to die for. Not your "Full Irish" (or English). I don't believe I have met such genuinely friendly and helpful staff in any hotel, not just something out of the customer service manual.
The hotel is very central, close to the Tivoli Gardens, Rail Station and the pedestrianised shopping street. One negative - a little close to the red light district. And it's not cheap.

This is the most, most, most expensive place I have ever, ever been to. And I have been to a lot of places. Some examples: pint of beer £6.50. A burger and chips, £30. A steak and potatoes in a small locally frequented restaurant, £38. Bottle of wine with dinner, thats a mere £50. Taxis are almost comically expensive. A coffee, that will be £4.
You can't visit Copenhagen without renting a bike and joining ranks with the 500,000 daily cyclists. Baisikeli [bicycle in Swahili] sends used Danish bikes to workshops in Africa and they finance it by renting bikes to visitors and students.
First off, Louisiana isn't located in Copenhagen, but it's a quick and easy train ride away.
Artists featured include Picasso, Lichtenstein, Calder, Moore, Warhol and Rauschenberg. The building itself will satisfy architect buffs and the grounds, with green, grassy hills sloping into the Orestund Strait are gorgeous. Sit outside and sip wine or coffee and Dane-watch (they're a good-looking bunch).
