    A tale of two carriages

Posted by Jessica Boyde 25 September 2007

Look out for TGV trains with idTGV carriages. These privately-owned carriages attached to normal TGV trains offer you a choice of travelling in ZEN or LIVELY style.

For those who want to relax, choose the Zen carriages, no noise and not too bright. For the funkier at heart, choose the idZap carriages, where you can play games, rent videos or even go and listen to the live DJ in the bar. And if you book early enough you can travel first class for as little as 49€!

    Avignon bridge

Posted by Elisabeth Davidson 17 August 2007

Go there in winter, stand on the empty bridge in the snow and text friends and family: 'je suis sur le pont d'avignon, il faut danse - in the snow' and wait for the replies!

    Port du Gard visit

    Posted by Jackie O'Neill 17 August 2007

On a hot day it is worth a visit to Pont du Gard to swim, or canoe under the bridge. We also brought a picnic and found it hard to tear ourselves away.

    Maison Felisa

Posted by Lucy Whittington 17 August 2007

Stunning restored village house just outside of Avignon. Sit all day in the garden and dip in the beautiful stone pool when you've tired of sightseeing.
