I recommend Kalico's for a cheap lunch on the fly. Anyone who's been to Courchevel 1850 knows that it is not cheap with the oil rich Ruskies pushing up the prices over the past few years. However, if it is a nice day go to Kalico's and you can grab a nice baguette loaded with steak hache, chips and some salad for €7.

A simple but very good chalet that offers good food and very friendly service. The chalet is close to the slopes. The owner Ferg is great at providing a perfect sking holiday. The wine in tasty too.

A great little gem of a chalet company, we stayed with them last year in Chalet Jamais Bleu. A beautiful 14 person chalet, with hot tub on the south facing terrace.
The food was delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
We flew to Geneva and the transfers were arranged by Ski-Dazzle at a very reasonable price.
Having previously stayed in this chalet when it was run by Alpine Action, I can honestly say it was a much better holiday, and fantastic value for money.

Amazing value for money, self catering, backs on to the pistes of Courchevel 1650 which still retains all the charms of Courchevel.

Courchevel may be for the rich and famous but it has excellent snowboarding tracks for novices and is more catered for beginners than nearby La Tania.
Get your ski/skiboarding gear from La Tania (where it's cheaper) and take the free bus to Courchevel 1500 or 1850 from La Tania.
Courchevel is 20km west of La Tania and can be reached by coach from Geneva or Chambery airports in around an hour and a half.
