    Chez Babethe

Posted by matelder 16 January 2013

There are a bunch of places to choose from to eat at Plaine Dranse near Morzine in the Portes du Soleil but none of them are in the same league as Chez Babethe. The interior is packed with fairy lights, ornaments, fur drapes and people turning it into something of a magical alcove. Babette ushers you to your seat - and she seems to know everyone - and you sink into cushions and fur while you wait for an aperatif. It's not cheap - starters are about 16 euros - and you won't be back on the slopes any time soon. But if you're looking for a slopesie restaurant that you'll remember for years to come then Chez Babethe is it. And the thing is - she'll remember you too, which is a nice touch.

    Mamma's

    Posted by Stone78 22 October 2012

Becoming something of an institution, Mama's is the place to go on chalet staff day off when you're left pondering how to feed yourself. Pasta, noodles, great pizza, fish & chips. It's more take out than eat in although there are tables. The lads who work there are really cool, lots of banter, lively atmosphere and above all really good food - the Singapore chicken comes recommended.

    Ski-Lifts

Posted by GoneSkiing 10 September 2008

I've used them for transfers in both the winter and the summer and I've always found them to be very reliable. Its about the same price as the public bus, but it's much quicker and they take you straight to your door - much easier than dragging all of your luggage around a resort!

    Rude Chalets

    Posted by Sara1980 20 January 2008

If you're looking to book a snowboarding holiday don't fail to look this company up. The company has two chalets in the resort of Morzine, both in fantastic locations.

What I particularly liked were the little touches you don't always get with a bigger company: heated boot warmers, iPod docks and guiding by their sponsored riders to name but a few.

Top food, top location, top people -look them up!

    Rudechalets

    Posted by Board1ng 1 August 2007

Rudechalets are a chalet company based in Morzine. I stayed last year with them. Their staff, food and chalets are awesome.

The only place I have stayed with PS2s in all bedrooms, a hot tub, a 42" plasma screen and a ride snowboard test centre!

    StarSki Chalets

Posted by skiboard 24 July 2007

Star Ski Chalets have a couple of stunning brand new luxury chalets - all with the obligatory hot tub, bar, wifi, and delicious food and fine wine. I've always found their staff to be well chosen. Can definitely recommend a great ski or snowboard holiday with them.

    Bar Robinsons

Posted by shoted 8 November 2006

The ideal place for après-ski drinking. This lively seasonaires favourite serves the legendary Mutzig on tap - a locally brewed and exceptionally strong lager. After a few pints of this tasty and throughly warming beer, you will be ready to hit the town even harder than you hit the slopes earlier!
