Excellent restaurant in traditional Norman-style building in centre of this friendly, bustling little town. Lovely food based on fresh local ingredients and a warm welcome. Try the "Tarte Tatin"! Closed Sunday evenings and all day Wednesday.

Le Walsheim

This isn't Norman cooking - it's Alsatian. But it's darn good, there's a value set lunch, and it's on one of the nicest street corners in the city.

Fabulous traditional French and Normandy cooking in an auberge with oak beams and check table cloths - great value 4 courses for 18 Euros. Highlights - steak in a camembert & cream sauce with homemade chips.
Escargots in many styles, moules a la creme.
