    Saint Georges Bookshop

Posted by LTOtt 14 November 2010

Saint Georges sells new and used books close to Kollwitz Platz in Prenzlauer Berg. Paul, the British owner, is friendly and open to some negotiation on price. You'll find a wide range of books (though this is not really the place for bodice rippers) including plenty of books on Berlin and a decent children's section at the far end. There are comfy old leather seats and a community noticeboard. Visit as part of a stroll round family friendly Prenzlauerberg - there are lots of places to eat (including market stalls on Saturday mornings) and playground areas in the middle of Kollwitz Platz.

    Woerther strasse 27, 10405 Berlin.
