Partake of this for €25 at the Villa Leonhardi – a superb Italian restaurant in an old villa just outside the old city; and once a month they do a seasonal tasting menu for €80‚ which is well worth making the journey for.
Fressgass is actually called "Große Bockenheimer Straße", but because it's a street with many restaurants, people like to affectionately call it "Fressgass", which could roughly be translated as "munch-street". Most restaurants are a little bit more expensive here.
A very nice Ethiopian restaurant, in case people get tired of sausages.

Orfeos Erben is not only an art house cinema, but also features a nice restaurant...ironically at the moment they are showing the shocking food documentary "We feed the world", a film about the immoral practises of big food companies, which did rather spoil my appetite when I saw it....

Very pleasant restaurant serving Bavarian food, such as half-metre long sausages.
Most entertaining when huge sun umbrella blew over in early evening breeze.
