The House of Terror

Posted by caskconditioned 11 October 2009

The House is a museum on three floors about the activities of the Hungarian Arrow (proto-Nazi) party in WWII and then the Communist Secret Police after then. It is a very well executed museum and utterly absorbing.

Klassz

Posted by caskconditioned 11 October 2009

Klassz is both a wine store and a restaurant. Very good food and reasonably priced; a great atmosphere and unusual decor. Excellently located on the stylish Andrassy ut.

Kiscelli museum

Posted by scotben 5 October 2009

An 18th century baroque palace, with incredible atmosphere, used by Hungarian and international filmmakers.
The Temple Space, once the chapel, with its soaring roof and dramatic lighting is now used for contemporary art and performance. A stunning space, suitable for elegant costume dramas, or sci-fi and much in between.
