Nice guided tours for those who like craft beer but not that familiar with the pubs of Budapest.

I recommend the Dreher Brewery in Budapest, Hungary.
Dreher is a crisp continental lager, similar to Pilsner Urquell, but not quite as sweet. In addition to the flagship label, they also brew several other Hungarian dark beers and lagers.
The brewery gives tours in English, and the tour includes an interesting history of beer making - in general and in Hungary.
It is a modern brewery and has won awards for its environmentalism. At the end of the tour you're invited into the brewery pub and, at least when I visited, there was no 'one pint' rule. They offered several pints of different types of beer, and even offered a few suggestions for mixing types.
It was a great experience.

A reasonably priced and enjoyable restaurant on the Pest side and just south of the popular tourist areas.
Home-brewed beer, which you can have in litre sized glasses if you want (and at about £2.70 a litre at May 2007 exchange rates). Ask the band for your favourite tune.
