Panorama guest house

Posted by gd123 8 January 2008

A lovely clean place. The comfiest beds we slept in on our trip to India. Good food on the rooftop terrace. Go for a cookery lesson at 'Nobles', it's a good way to spend a morning/afternoon.

Fantastic pool on the roof of the Udai Kothi hotel, with great views to the palace across the lake - accommodation on this side of the lake has the best views. The pool can be used by non residents for a few pounds so I checked out and into a cheap hotel across the road with a lovely laid back terrace and better views from the rooms than Udai Kothi's, as it was on the lakeside rather than set back.

The Udai Kothi

Posted by Pxyzyzygy 11 September 2005

It's a gorgeous hotel with a roof-top pool and the most beautiful rooms. Go into town to Jagat Niwas for dinner, then stop off on the way back at the Lakeshore Hotel for drinks.
