Ireland

Family white water rafting
Family days out and vacations don't have to mean soul destroying traffic jams on the motorway or fights over the only camp bed. And, in truth, reading the excellent tips on Been there for great family getaways won't necessarily turn yours into the Brady Bunch. But it could bring you one step closer to family trip Nirvana or at least show you what you're missing.

    Ireland-Selfcatering

Posted by maryrodgers 5 March 2010

I went on a holiday in August 2009 for two weeks around Ireland, staying in Kenmare and Galway. I booked accommodation at both places on www.Ireland-Selfcatering.com.

I found this website very user-friendly, the houses are exactly as described online and we received confirmation quite quickly. I would recommend using this website for your stay anywhere in Ireland.

    Dream Ireland

Posted by oldmarried 8 December 2008

Having never been to the south west of Ireland, we decided to stay in Kenmare, Co. Kerry right on the famous Ring of Kerry drive. We had the three kids and our dog with us so opted for the self-catering option. We stayed at gorgeous holiday homes in the town with Dream Ireland Holiday Homes. They seem to have loads of houses all over the town and they all looked equally nice. Ideal for our gang!

Posted by Jocksie 5 November 2006

Bonane Heritage Park is an opportunity to enjoy a 3 km walk on pathways while enjoying the monuments of the ancient past. The information signs guide you through the park while enjoying breathtaking scenery. The highlights were the magnificent ring fort and intriguing stone circle Ideal day for all the family. Must visit again.

On the N71, 10 KM from Kenmare on the Glengarriff Road.
