Capri Tiberio Palace

Posted by peter2br 25 May 2012

If you are planning a holiday and haven’t decided on the location, I suggest the little island of Capri just off the Amalfi coast in Italy. We’ve been to Sorrento before (on the mainland) but this was our first time on the island. It’s a very relaxed, wonderful place! We stayed at Capri Tiberio Palace, a luxurious hotel just a minute from “La Piazzetta”. The hotel is simply superb, with everything you need on site, including a great restaurant and bar, and services such as a spa and gym. We had a very memorable stay, we’re thinking of returning sometime.

Arco Naturale

Posted by TheBooCat 9 April 2012

The Arco Naturale is a natural spectacle on the outskirts of Capri town which is best accessed on foot. Within minutes you will be away from the hoards of tourists in Capri town walking along tiny streets to the coast. The arc itself is a huge curved rock springing out of the water. There is a handy cafe at the top of the steps leading down to the Arc.

Capri

Posted by kris1 2 March 2012

The Amalfi coast is beautiful but especially worth a visit is the island of Capri. When you get there you walk along narrow ancient streets to the old Carthusian monastery of St Giacomo, a sight in itself. The monks developed the perfumes (with the Pope's special permission) from old formulas based on the native flowers and herbs of the island and now they are sold all over the world. Walk to one of the small idyllic beaches, eat local fish, drink the local wine and have a swim - pure bliss.

Capri Island

Posted by pusieki 20 February 2011

an Italian paradise! We've seen some beautiful places but there is nowhere quite like Capri. People are friendly, the views spectacular wherever your hotel. The prices are quite high but I feel it's all well worth it. It's really amazing just to take your backpack and walk all around the island, trails and paths discovering places that will take your breath away. The choice of tiny bars and restaurants is endless here. We ate at the most amazing restaurant called Capri's which is situated just off the main street in Capri overlooking Marina Grande. It's modern and the location gives it a 10 out of 10. I have to admit prices are high but it's such a wonderful place - the perfect place to propose!
