During the trip in Italy we decided to stop in a nice town in Liguria called San Remo for a couple of days.
We found Residence dei Due Porti, and let me say something, this is the most relaxing place in which you could ever spend your holiday in San Remo: quiet and comfortable room and a staff who kindly fulfills all of your needs and requests. But what makes Residence dei Due Porti particularly special is its location: it's near the town center and allows you to reach by foot the majority of San Remo's places of interest.
My family and I have a particular passion for bike rides and we had a lot of fun and entertainment doing our rides on the so-called pista ciclabile della Riviera dei Fiori: the path is straight and flat, easy to go; various bars and restaurants lying alongside the track makes the ride very enjoyable and relaxing, with some little help from the mild climate of the Riviera di Ponente, often offering warm and sunny days.
We also found many benches and little fountains suitable for having a little rest.
Last summer I went on holiday with my familiy in San Remo, a lovely little city in the North of Italy. We choose to stay at “Le Terrazze”, a holiday complex with comfortable studios or two-roomed apartments in the peace of a garden full of lemon trees and lots of other plants. The apartments are new and very well furnished with air conditioning, TV and Internet connection. They all have a little terrace with seeview and private parking. My family and I especially enjoyed the barbecue zone which is among the lemon trees. Also we appreciated that the complex isn't too big and not so close to the crowd of the city centre. It is very quite and relaxing. “Le Terrazze” is also very near to the most popular beach of Sanremo named “Tre Ponti” where you find rocks and sand and limpid water. My family and I have loved as well the new bike lane that goes from San Remo to Santo Stefano al Mare and where you can walk or run with the beautiful coast on your side.
This hotel located in a small oasis set between sea and hills, surrounded by palm and century-old trees in perfect harmony with the lush environment of the Riviera dei Fiori and with the elegant Sanremo gardens.
I've been there this spring and I would recommend this place to anybody.
