Baroque star
A world heritage city built by the Knights of Malta in the 16th century and named after Grandmaster La Vallette. With baroque architecture, palaces and churches every few metres, its faded grandeur is magical.

Valletta adds...
I highly recommend Valletta. It is a lovely safe and friendly city where you can spend many days and nights. There is always something to discover. You can shop and visit the daily open market or choose to just walk around its lovely and unique stepped streets. There is a large choice of restaurants and wine bars, some prominent and some hidden away in historic buildings, cellars and palaces.

You can visit many museums, churches and the beautiful St. John's Co Cathedtral. Last but not least you may stroll to the upper or lower barracca gardens where you can see the wonderful view of the grand harbour surrounded by the majestic bastions. This is a view not to be missed at all costs especially at night.

Valletta is a place where there is always something going on for every person, something to do or see. You will not be disappointed.
