If you want to experience a local hammam try the Bab Doukkala hammam next to the mosque. It is 16th century and has a stunning wood carved ceiling in the changing area and a magnificent domed and arcaded warm room. Men mornings and late evening, women afternoon. Guys wear trunks and modesty is the order of the day. They say not so for women. A memorable surrounding and experience.
