On the road in Maputo
The easiest way to get into Mozambique by public transport is via the Swaziland capital, Mbabane. Just head to the main square and wait for the kombi (mini-bus taxi) that’s going to Maputo. There’s one-a-day but it’s a good bet to get there really early (even though this means a lot of waiting around – remember, this is Africa) to reserve your seat. The kombi will leave when it’s full and there’s no system to buy tickets in advance...
