One of the best pizzas I have EVER had... gourmet pizza at its best. Plus the roof opens once it turns into a club :)
About a 45min drive from Queenstown, a beautiful lake near Wanaka that I could sit and look at for hours! Very likely you will be able to sit alone too.
Probably the best restaurant we visited in a three-week trip to NZ.
Fish restaurant - excellent choice of fish, beautifully cooked and served. A real star restaurant. Fish-themed decor and very relaxed atmosphere. 5 stars from me!

Central Otago has more than its fair share of wineries where you can enjoy tastings and/or a great meal among some of New Zealand’s finest scenery.
One of my favourites is the Amisfield Winery which is halfway between Queenstown and Arrowtown on the shores of Lake Hayes. It’s a fantastic place for a relaxed lunch or dinner with a great outdoor terrace (weather permitting). If they’ve got any left, try their rose but I’m afraid I may have drunk it all on my last visit.
