New Zealand's capital of the arts is a vibrant, compact little city that has everything to offer, from tasty gourmet food tours, nearby breweries and vineyards to Karori Park for bird watching and atmospheric landscape, a scenic cable-car, a great shopping centre, and world-class restaurants and cafes bryow22

Wellington is a city that most people pass through on their way to or from the South Island. For me, it's one of the most beautiful cities in New Zealand situated on a magnificent harbour, surrounded by hills and mountains. Wellington on a sunny day is spectacular.

Drive over to Shelly's Beach (Seatoun) and enjoy the ambiance at the Chocolate Fish Cafe. The coastline there is very pretty, and you won't believe you're in the capital city of New Zealand!
