    In Tysfjord in northern Norway, they run safaris in search of the magnificent orcas. Stay at the Tysfjord hotel where they give lectures on orca behaviour and then join one of the day trips to get good sightings of these giant 'dolphins'.

    Snorkelling with orcas costs approx £135 (including drysuit and all equipment), and a 6 hour boat trip is around £65.
