Russia
Moscow's club scene is large and mostly dominated by posh hangouts for the decadent new rich Russians. Want me to drop some names? Dagilev, Opera and Cabaret are the No.1 upscale clubs.
If you look for the creative and famous, you should check Krisha and Gazgolder. But be aware, for both it's very hard to get in. Moscow is known for its tough face control and these two clubs are among the most difficult to enter. Want to see some photos from the parties there? Check my blog: www.moscow-blog.com - I post regular reviews about Moscows clubs and lounges.

On the riverside embankment just near the Hotel Ukraina. Follow the street and you'll find the entrance (some stairs) on the left.
Propaganda is one of the very first clubs in Moscow, and is still the best for those who are looking not only to get drunk and dance, but also to hear nice music, meet interesting people, and, well, dance.
The music is quality downtempo, nu-jazz, house by local DJs and at least twice a week they invite a big name from UK or US. So if you're into NinjaTunes, Jazzanova, Grand Central kind of stuff, this is the place to go.
During the day and until 11pm they have tables all around the place and serve nice inexpensive food. After 11, it's party time, the tables get moved towards the walls and people start dancing, usually until 4 or 5am.

Don`t miss Moscow’s nightlife. Fabrique is a well-known club, though not many people can get there - the face control is quite strict (I believe with foreigners it`s better).
House music is the soundtrack of choice, there’s a rather big dancefloor and a veranda on the first floor. Prices are reasonable and there’s beautiful Russian girls and stylish guys.
Fabrique always features famous DJs, check on their website.
Also worth a look are Propaganda, Real McCoy and Club XIII.

Apparently an exclusive club-restaurant, but they let anyone in who asks nicely (in Russian). Traditional Russian food, ice cold vodka, and bizarre caricature busts of everyone from Lady Di to Dostoyevski. £15 a head for vodka and food.
24 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa (in a courtyard away from the street); Tel: 095 923 0082; nearest metro: Christiye Prudy
