Spain
I picked up a card for www.la-boca.com in my hostel reception. It's got a great listings sections and some good recommendations for bars and restaurants around town.
When in Barcelona I frequently use the site of a local English language magazine there called Metropolitan. They always have up-to-date information about current exhibitions, music and clubs, dance and theatre plus they also have an excellent restaurant guide as well. Great insiders knowledge from people who have lived in the city and know the best places to go.
It's a guide to vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Barcelona. It has information about shops, restaurants, bars, cafes - what to buy and where to buy it. Very user friendly. Indispensible for vegetarians living in and visiting Barcelona
This is a 'cultural weekly' put together by expats living in the city. It was in print, and I think they'll be going back into print for the summer, but they've got a website which is always great to find unique places to eat or alternative events in the city.
They also offer cultural commentary and columns. Sometimes it's better than others, but always interesting.
When I travel I always book a guide, but when I do not have time enough to buy it, I surf the most relevant information on the net.
By surfing, surfing and surfing I've found this guide that gives some tips about this amazing town. This is not complete but at least it is a good point to start with.
