    Es Rebost de Can Prats

    Posted by roedeer 8 October 2007

    Authentic, traditional home cooking - this great restaurant feels almost a deliberate antithesis to the dives of San Antonio. Restaurants like this are hard to find on such a tourist-dominated island, so it's definitely worth checking out if you're staying anywhere nearby. An Ibizan dish of lamb stew with saffron potatoes was beautifully tender.

    C/ Cervantes no 4 - near the old church in San Antonio. Tel 971 34 62 52. Closed Tuesdays.

    Casi Todo

    Posted by ceebee 27 April 2006

    This auction house-cum-bar is in an artisan village, Santa Gertrudis. It's a great place to watch the world go by with a Rioja and fantastic tapas.

    Santa Gertrudis is about 10km from San Antonio;

    Plastik

    My favourite bar is Plastik in uptown San Antonio - it's a really cool place to have a drink and chat to friends.

    Bambuddha Grove

    Posted by missemma 26 April 2006

    Set amongst lush bamboos and Buddhas, Bambuddha Grove is an impressive looking restaurant serving excellent Mediterranean and Asian food in an authentic Thai building, which I believe was especially imported and built on the spot. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and the seperate bar with djs is great for relaxing over a cocktail.

    Apdo. Correos 625 - five minutes from Santa Eulalia;

    L'Elephant

    Posted by missemma 26 April 2006

    An elegant dining room and rooftop bar with spectacular views of Ibiza Old Town from the terraces. Equally spectacular is the fantastic French cuisine, which is always presented beautifully - and tastes even better than it looks. Admittedly expensive but worth it as a holiday treat!

    San Rafael, just in front of the old white church;

    Pacha and Space

    Posted by missemma 26 April 2006

    Two of the best clubs in Ibiza! Some of the best nights (and days) out I've had have been spent on the terrace at Pacha and Space, with a drink in my hand and a smile on my face. The great atmosphere at both these clubs more than makes up for the outrageous drinks prices.
