El Clodenis

Posted by Mariechen 15 May 2012

Located in San Rafael with stunning views of the neighboring church, El Clodenis has been one of the locals’ and global jet sets’ favorite gourmet hot spots for a quarter of a century. After a relaxed day on the beach it is an absolute must do for Ibiza admirers to enjoy the delightful atmosphere and the amazing food of El Clodenis- a mixture of French cuisine and Ibiza flavors - on the flowered pool terrace.

B For Planet Sushi

Posted by whiteibiza 14 August 2009

B For is a restaurant situated in Avenida 8 de Agosto in Ibiza, just close to the famous club Pacha.

The name explains everything, if you are going to B For, you are definitely going to taste some sushi, sashimi and other japanese dishes.

With beautiful interior design, relaxed atmosphere and lounge music, this is the place to go to have a nice dinner before a proper dance night.

I recommend it for its exclusive and relaxed atmosphere.

Aguas Blancas Restaurant

Posted by whiteibiza 10 August 2009

Aguas Blancas means White Waters and is a beautiful beach on the east side of Ibiza with brown sand and a high rock wall behind the beach.

Aguas Blancas is also the name of the sandy-floored restaurant that offer its service in this beach.

I recommend it for three reasons:

- I love the beach and the view there
- Sensational paellas
- Home made ice cream! :-)

This is not a mainstream places like many in Ibiza, but a nice place to see and eat on the east side of the island.

Atzaró

Posted by whiteibiza 6 August 2009

Atzaró is an agroturismo located in the center of Ibiza, between Santa Eularia and San Lorenzo.

Known for its restaurant and its stunning location immsersed in the green heart of Ibiza, Atzaró offers also spa and accommodation services.

Often hosting events and weddings this place is surely one of the most glamorous and beautiful places on the island.

The first time I went there I got quite impressed by the atmosphere created by the statues and the interior design/ decoration.

I suggest you go in the daylight to see it in all its beauty.

Cap D'es Falco

Posted by whiteibiza 22 July 2009

Cap D'es Falco is a restaurant situated in the protected national park of Ses Salines, close to Es Cavallet Beach, in the South of Ibiza.

Sunsets here are simply beautiful, the white light surrounding the restaurant makes it perfect for a romantic dinner or a wedding party.

I would suggest to try the home-cooked Italian cuisine and delicious desserts, otherwise some grilled meat accompanied with some spanish wine.

I think the Cardamom Club is the only restaurant in Ibiza that deserves to be considered master in true Indian Cusine.

Cardamom Club restaurant is situated in Santa Eularia Des Riu (this is the Catalàn name, the spanish name is Santa Eulalia Del Rio) on the east side of Ibiza, 15 km from Eivissa (Ibiza town).

Definitely a place to go for a trip on the beautiful east side of the island, a calmer place with a little more mature crowd.

Bacchus restaurant

Posted by whiteibiza 20 July 2009

Bacchus is restaurant situated in the tiny town Santa Gertrudis in the center of Ibiza.

It's open all the year round and it's located in one of the oldest fincas in Santa Gertrudis.

The wine list is excellent, is not a case this restaurant has been named after the Roman God of Wine!

The food menu is quite exotic, with a mixture of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.

I recommend to go to Bacchus to have a delightful dining experience and to take a look at Santa Gertrudis: a very small town but well known for its nice restaurants and their good food.

Cicale Italian restaurant

Posted by whiteibiza 9 July 2009

Cicale is an italian restaurant situated in the center of Ibiza, on the road to San Joan, close to San Lorenzo.

Between all the restaurants I've been in Ibiza, Cicale is one of the ones I liked most because of the delicate plates and good meat and I didn't spend much (well it was in November, but I don't think they change the prices a lot in the summer).

Villa Mercedes

Posted by chilternskipper 29 June 2009

Amidst the chaos of San Antonio, there is a fine restaurant. You may feel initially you are entering the king of kitsch, however the food is excellent with an obligatory cool band playing.

Es Rebost de Can Prats

Posted by roedeer 8 October 2007

Authentic, traditional home cooking - this great restaurant feels almost a deliberate antithesis to the dives of San Antonio. Restaurants like this are hard to find on such a tourist-dominated island, so it's definitely worth checking out if you're staying anywhere nearby. An Ibizan dish of lamb stew with saffron potatoes was beautifully tender.

Kanya Sunset Cafe

Posted by Limni 27 April 2006

A beautiful bar just along the coast from the Sunset Strip. Great cocktails, good cheap food, a pool (with twice weekly foam parties) and fantastic music. The 'secret' parties are legendary. It has sun-loungers available for free, live football on an indoor big screen (great if you're away during the World Cup) and the best atmosphere of any of the San Antonio bars during the day. This is where the island's workers often go to chill out. Also hosts pre-parties for some of the big club nights.

Calle Soledad 53, Calo des Moro beach. It's orange canopy is easily visible from Cafe Mambo etc if you look along the coast away from San Antoni. Next door to Coastline Cafe/Sunsea Bar;

San Antonio

Posted by Ibiza1 27 April 2006

I know San Antonio has a bit of a reputation, but this is completely unjustified. Yes, there is the West End and the clubs (hurrah!), but people must not forget chilled out bars like Mambos, Cafe Del Mar and Coastline, and the infamous, breathtaking sunset. No better place to spend a special occasion with a cocktail, watching the spectacular fire eaters who come out at night.

The San Antonio promenade is full of young teenagers, families and older people walking in the evening. Bar M and Orange Corner along this area are fab for lunch and people watching, Itaca does gorgeous caprhina cocktails and the beach is practically empty and peaceful, believe it or not.

There's an amazing Tex Mex restaurant and the Curry Club is one of the best curry places anywhere. Hotel Arenal is in a perfect location with huge rooms, an indoor and outdoor pool, air con and great staff (I should know, I was a rep there for 2 years, and I stayed there). So before you write it off, choose this all-rounder of a resort to spend a week. I guarantee it won't be your only visit.

Santa Eulalia

Posted by JudgeJules 26 April 2006

A quiet resort on the island with the added advantage that it has loads of good eateries. You're bound to find something on Calle San Jaime and Calle San Vicente, where cafes and restaurants line the promenade.

Accessible by bus or ferry, but only 15km north of Ibiza Town so you can easily get a taxi.

The beautiful north

Posted by JILLERVINE 26 April 2006

If you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the island, then head north to San Carles and Cala San Vincente. It's a world away from the tackiness of San Antonio. Rent a villa in a pine forest overlooking the bay (San Vincente). The air smells of oranges and you won't hear any pumping house. San Carles is a buzzing village full of locals and (rich) hippies. The life of the village centers around Bar Anita. You can hang around here talking to the locals and watching the world go by all day. Best meat restaurant in Ibiza is there - Can Pages - on the road from Santa Eulalia to San Carles. If food, wine, slow days and a rustic kind of romance is what you're after, then this is where you'll find it!

North/north west of the island. Nearest large town is Santa Eulalia;
