For the ones who do not know what pastelleria is, it is a place where they make excellent meat and other pies.
In Murcia this place is old, traditional and has the best meat pies (pastel de carne Murciano), washed down with the excellent local beer/cerveza Estrella Levante!
The meat pies are delicious, made with thin filo pastry sheets and chorizo and boiled egg in the meat filling to top it up!

Rural hotel on the Sierra Espuna mountain range, wonderful welcome, a real feel at home hotel (only the food is better!!), great walking on the Espuna, lots to do if you like nature and the great outdoors. We'll be back next year.

The Hotel Mariposa is a small family-run hotel near the Sierra Espuna regional park in Murcia.

I can highly recommend the comfortable accommodation, superb food and friendly service, not forgetting the smashing ice-cold beer and all at a very fair price.

So, if you enjoy the great outdoors, this place is spot on for exploring the unspoilt areas of the Sierra Espuna and Barrancos de Gebas, (it's bike friendly as well). In a nutshell, it's top notch.
