    Public bicycle rent - Alvadon

Posted by mamadu 16 July 2008

In summer consider renting a public bicycle. The cost of three days is 125 kr (or 250 kr for the whole season). You can get the card to use the bikes at any SL centre. You can use a Bicycle for three hours, then place it back in one of the 70 stations in Stockholm, and you can grab another one.
It's available from 6am to 6pm every day.

    Cycling on Djurgarden

Posted by Franquinn 18 April 2006

On a sunny day, rent a bike (or inline skates) from the waterside hire shop by the bridge to the island of Djurgarden. Traffic is banned from the island at weekends, and you can ride through beautiful green spaces, just a stone's throw from the city centre.

    Ostermalm

This swanky area on the north island is really nice to walk around. From the bridge to Djursgaten island, walk or cycle north along Narvavagen. When you get to the roundabout turn left onto Karlavagen. The side streets along this route between Karlavagen and Narvavagen are beautiful, with several
    boutiques and lovely cafes.
