The hotel is on a corner across from the statue to the Virgin Mary.
It was inexpensive - around 18 euros for a double room - clean, and they let me park my Honda Goldwing in the foyer.

Th oldest church in the city (around 13th century) is very beautiful and quite different from most of the churches in the old town.
Walk north from the Opera House, through the open market area and on for about 1/2 kilometre.
