Beside the seaside
Yalta sits on the south-eastern side of the Crimean peninsula and is probably Ukraine’s top holiday spot. In the west it’s remembered more as the venue for the conference between Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt at the end of world war two when they divvied up the various parts of Europe that they now occupied. The weather is certainly very good, the coastline very pretty and there’s plenty to explore.
