I stayed at the Speedbird Inn when I had an early flight out of Aberdeen Airport the next morning and found it excellent value for money. The hotel is really close to the airport and it was perfect for catching my early flight from.
Gardenstown is a gem of a village with pretty painted cottages surrounded by sandstone cliffs and the north sea. Mitchell's Cottage is on main street just a one-minute walk from the atmospheric local pub Garden Arms. The cottage has just been renovated with a superb dining kitchen, working fire in the sitting room for those cosy nights in and a big shower bath to soak in at the end of the day. If you're exploring Scotland don't miss Gardenstown and Mitchell's Cottage.
Cosy holiday cottage in the beautiful fishing village of Gardenstown, Abderdeenshire. My partner and I enjoyed fabulous food (courtesy of the Harbour Cafe) and wonderful walks along rugged, and unspoilt coastline.
Feels like a million miles away, well I guess it is nearly!
