A cup of coffee

A cappuccino kick-start in the morning before a day spent exploring a new city; a rest in the afternoon with a latte and a slab of cake; a teeny tiny super-strong espresso after a gourmet dinner - coffee is the perfect travel companion. We're looking for the best places around the world to stop for a cup of java. Cafe Retro

Posted by woolley 25 November 2010

Just a stone's throw from Bath Abbey, this long standing independent cafe knocks the socks off the big chains. Really great coffee and large portions. Known for its all-day breakfasts but also great eggs benedict and the best croque monsieur this side of Paris.
