By far the best way to get to Brighton is by train, however if you must travel by car, don't sit in a traffic jam on the A23 into Brighton - there's a much quicker way into town.

Just before you get into Brighton, take the A27 westbound (signed for Worthing). Exit the A27 at the top of the hill (about 1 mile), and take the 2nd exit off the roundabout (or the 3rd if going to Hove). You will be at the seafront in 10 minutes, instead of sitting in a jam for 2 hours!
