Another reason to visit Stokes Croft. As you come in through the door there's a lounge bar area with a good selection of Spanish & Portuguese beers. Towards the back is the restaurant area. Their tapas is imaginative and well prepared.

    El Rincón

Friendly south Bristol tapas bar. During the evenings it doubles up as a language academy catering for all levels. Their deli, situated in St Nicholas market, sells a good range of Rioja, Albarino, Navarra, Penedes, Jerez, and ports.

    El Puerto

Atmospheric harbourside tapas restaurant. The staff buzz around chatting away in Spanish. It's unhurried and the portions are a healthy size. Perhaps too much choice on a diverse menu with over 50 dishes.
