                <description><![CDATA[Feminist, philosopher, social reformer and credited with being the Father of Modern India. He is strongly remembered for his involvement in the abolition of Sati, the immolation of widows. He died of meningitis in 1833 whilst visiting Bristol as an ambassador of the Mughal Empire. He is buried in the city's Arnos Vale Cemetery and this statue commemorates his significant legacy.]]></description>
