It would be nice to think that this sunny image of a family hiking on the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall was a bit nearer to the truth. From great hotels to city day trips and nature reserves, there are tips covering every aspect of the British isles for parents and children alike. But perhaps taking a brolly is a good idea.
